♥ Thanksgiving

Today is Thanksgiving, one day out of the year designed to make one ponder on things that they are thankful for. Its a day set aside for Family and tradition, two things in which i truelly care about. Today is all about your loved ones, whether thats your parents and siblings, Grandparents and distant cousins, or your spouse or significant other and kids, it doesnt matter who makes up your family, it just matters that you spend time with them. People automatically assume you have to spend today with blood relatives but why spend such a unique and important day if you dont like those people, I say today is all about spending time with the people you love to be around, for me that just happens to be my family. My dad has been up since 5 this morning cooking (no my mom doesnt cook). The smell of the turkey filled this house before I even opened my eyes, and I love that. I love that my family is able to get together not just on Holiday's but at least once a week to eat together and spend time with each other. in today's world that isnt very usual having dinner with your family every night. Now dont get me wrong we all fight constantly, dinner is typically me getting bitched at by my mom, katrina and nick fighting, tasha yellin at the boys and my dad trying to get everyone to shut up and eat, but still its not unpleasant. we all talk about our day and tell news or funny stories that happened. I believe it is important to spend time with the people you care most about, its a tradition in my family and one day when i;m married and have children im going to pass alond the tradition, and my families values to them. This time of year makes one think about all the good in your life, and thankfully i have alot of good. I hope every one had an amazing day not matter what your traditions are! God Bless! and Peace out
